Cultural Circles is the studio of fine artist Michael Anthony Brown. Michael Anthony Brown, a native of Washington DC is a fine artist known for his
detailed paintings and sculptures. Brown's unique inclusion of hidden objects -- usually historical or symbolic --
is an unexpected surprise for those who have yet to follow his artistic
career. He uses his very detailed work
to reach back and draw the path journeyed through history as clearly
communicated in the sculpture Call of Freedom and the etching
Stars and Stripes. Brown, the creator of the official poster
commemorating the Million Man March in 1995, rarely creates
work that is reproduced for the general public. This poster is one of the very
few works that the artist has allowed to be mass produced. With the historic election of Barack Obama
as president of the United States, Michael Anthony Brown was inspired to create
a painting that commemorates the history and captures the spirit of this
event.
The painting incorporates over one hundred images of those whose
individual and collective, historical and cultural contributions paved the way
to the inauguration of Barack Obama as president of the United States. To view more of Michael's work, viisit his online GALLERY.
